Final journey on railway remembered 60 years on
It's 60 years this year since the much-loved railway line connecting us in Bath to Bournemouth sadly closed. Many of us will remember travelling on it, and its closure marked a significant change for our local transport history.
The railway ran between Bath and Bournemouth, but was victim to the Beeching Cuts in the 1960s.
